DYCK - Marlowe Dale peacefully entered into the Lord’s presence on August 18, 2023 at the age of 64. Marlowe was born on March 24, 1959 in Herbert, Saskatchewan to Abe and Betty Dyck. He was the youngest brother to Patrick and Joyce. Marlowe valued his faith and relationship with his Saviour Jesus Christ and was actively involved in the Crossroads church in Herbert.

Marlowe completed his K-12 education at Herbert School. He enjoyed playing sports, especially football which contributed to his passion for the Saskatchewan Roughriders and he rarely missed a game. Marlowe was a very skilled handyman and he had the ability to look at something and just know how to fix it. In 1978, at the age of 18, he began his career working for Trans Canada Pipelines where he excelled for 32 years. In 1999, he completed his Journeyman Instrumentation at  Saskatchewan Technical Institute.  In his down time, Marlowe also farmed with his father and brother for 38 years.

On January 9, 1986, Marlowe married his best friend and love of his life Connie in Hawaii. They celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary with a trip back to the place they were married along with their family. For 37 years, they built a life together in Herbert. They were blessed with their two daughters Christine in 1992 and Jessica in 1994. Becoming a grandpa was something Marlowe had always wished for. In 2022, he welcomed his first grandchild Jax and was looking forward to welcoming two more in the coming weeks and months. Family time was very important to Marlowe and he loved going on family trips whether it be camping at Cypress Hills and the Saskatchewan Landing, or winter trips to Hawaii, Mexico, Jamaica, and Dominican Republic. Marlowe loved the lake and spent many days boating, fishing, and taking his family tubing and wakeboarding.
