Our History

Parkside Memorial Funeral Home has been serving Southwest Saskatchewan since 1982. We have dedicated ourselves to serving families in a caring, respectful, dignified and professional manner. We provide affordable funeral options to help families plan a service that meets their financial situation.  Our goal is to always be implementing new ideas and options to help best serve our families.  

Parkside Memorial Funeral Home was established by Alvin Siemens, John Penner and Don Sommerfield in 1982.  Long time employee Ryan Cappelle purchased the business and has been running it since 2000.  Ryan operates Parkside with his son Hayden and has help from his father Chaplain Bob Cappelle.

We also offer chapel services and can host receptions, gatherings and other events with our large 170 seat chapel.
