When I (Sheila) was in my second year of teaching I assumed a teaching position at Fairview School. Dave was a colleague there. He would often check in on me to see if I had any questions and offered support, jokes, laughter, perspective and most of all kindness. I really appreciated this. Very sad to to see Dave gone. I always enjoyed my time with Dave. Whether you were hunting, building a deck or socializing with a beer, Dave always had the best stories. Didn't matter what you were doing, he approached it with enthusiasm and a smile. Dave loved his family and led by example. He had a gift for figuring out any construction problem. I still use a few of Dave's best jokes to this day. Condolences to all family and friends. I hope Dave is sitting in a duck blind looking down and smiling!
