Obituary of Jack Wesley Dreger

Please share a memory of Jack to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

DREGER – Jack Wesley passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Elrose Health Centre after a short and courageous battle with bladder cancer.  Born on New Year’s Day in 1945, Wes was 77 years old.  Wes was predeceased by his mother Olga in 2007, Father Lou in 1997, and brother Wayne in 1993.  He is survived by his five children; Kim, Susan, Ben, Christine, and Sarah; six grandchildren: Jason, Ashley, Laia, Pol, Tess, and Josie; three great grandchildren; Ethan, Jack, and Bennett; two brothers, Terry, and Mel; one aunt, Ann Thompson and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Wes had a zest for life and enjoyed spending his retirement years in Yuma, Arizona where he made many special friendships over the years.  He has a passion for making jewelry and exploring nature by searching for precious gems. He loved visiting his family farm outside of Lemberg, SK which always had a special place in his heart.  Wes will be missed by his family and friends. A special thank you to Dr. Chris Rediger of Regina, Dr. Lee and staff of Swift Current Hospital and Clover House, the staff of Elrose Health Centre, as well as everyone else involved in the loving and supportive care of Wes over the past year.  There will be a small, intimate gathering for immediate family members to celebrate Wes’ life.  Arrangements are in care of Parkside Memorial Funeral Home – Ryan Cappelle & Hayden Cappelle.
