Grace and Seymour were very special to the Rude family. Best friends of Donalda and Chris, they were often over for cards, tea or coffee. Mom walked with Grace as much as she could, and they used to dye each other’s hair at our hall sink. In recent years, Cathy and I continued to visit Grace whenever we were in Swift Current. I was lucky enough to see her around Valentine’s Day, 2020, just before the pandemic. We had lunch at the Legion and she read the prayer. She will be missed by everyone in our family. To the Smith Family: The Legion will certainly miss Grace and all she did for the Branch. We used to love saying at Tuesday Dinners "And now we'll ask Grace to say grace" - we'll miss that for sure! We will lower the flag at the Veteran's Plot for Monday in respect of all Grace meant to us. She certainly did live her life by her name! Condolences from everyone at Branch #56.

To the Smith Family,
I was sad to see that Grace had passed away, then many fond memories flooded my mind. I always enjoyed our visits and having her attend the annual company Christmas party.
