Obituary of Trevor Funk

FUNK – TREVOR passed away at his home on Thursday, May 20, 2021 in Swift Current, SK.  He was born August 4, 1976 in Swift Current to parents Ben and Bertha (Wall) Funk.  He is survived by his mother Bertha, sister Cheryl (Dave) Dewalt, niece Alysha Dewalt, nephew Tyler Dewalt and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.  He is predeceased by his father Ben Funk.  Trevor grew up in Waldeck, SK, went to school there until grade 9 and then his high school in Swift Current.  He worked for several construction companies doing drywall, painting, stipling ceilings, siding and shingling.  His hobbies were wood working, fishing, camping, working on vehicles and he loved music.  A family graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at the Wymark cemetery, Wymark, SK.  Donations in memory of Trevor can be made to Canadian Mental Health & Addictions.  Arrangements are in care of Parkside Memorial Funeral Home – Ryan Cappelle & Hayden Cappelle.
