Murray Cameron Butterfield passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020 surrounded by his family - his wife Ray and his four daughters, Shann Gowan, Erin Bircham, Stacy Butterfield, and Randi Hymers. He was a lifeguard, an athlete, an engineer, a City Commissioner, and a great husband and dad. Papa was a kind, quiet, thoughtful guy who loved jazz music, good pub food, photography, skiing, swimming, travelling, and Swift Current. He was a big sports fan - basketball, tennis, and the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He loved his family and we loved him. He will be missed. He was one of the good ones.
