MAC ISAAC - Joseph Robson Mac Isaac was born Nov 2, 1931 in Morse Sk to Don & Madge Mac Isaac. Joe passed away peacefully July 11, 2019 in Swift Current Sk. Joe is survived by wife Marie-Ann, son Lane (Jo-Lynn), grandsons Tyler & Cole. Daughter Tanja & grandson Dalton. Also survived by brother-in-law Rick Munt (Wendy), niece Crystal & nephew Errol (Jennifer), great nieces Madison & Macy. Predeceased by his parents Don & Madge Mac Isaac and sister Jean Stringer. Joe was a very caring, kind, loving husband, father, grandfather & friend. He married Marie-Ann in Gull Lake Sk on June 14, 1975 and they resided in Swift Current. He was always putting family first. As his daughter Tanja grew up, the highlight of his free time was supporting her love of horses & following her on her journey. With his son Lane, he was able to share his love of baseball with him & coached him in his years of playing. As Joe grew older, his grandsons Dalton, Tyler & Cole brought so much joy to his life. He always gave his time to take them to practices, watch games & just enjoy quality time with them. Joe loved big family gatherings during the holidays with Rick, Wendy, Crystal & Errol as well. Joe was a dedicated employee to the Pioneer Co-op for over 40 years, finally retiring in 1996. He was a lover of sports & opened his home to board Swift Current Indians players as well as hockey players. Joe was a S.C. Indians season ticket holder for 24 years and sat on the board for many seasons. He also loved to watch the Sask Roughriders & curling on T.V. Joe was very proud of his Cape Breton heritage & was happy he was able to take a trip with his wife to the East Coast. He & Marie-Ann enjoyed numerous bus tours as well. Joe’s door was always open. He welcomed anyone who would stop in for a visit or an occasional card game. Joe touched many lives in his 87 years and will be terribly missed. A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Parkside Memorial Funeral Home.
