Obituary of Doug Pisiak

PISIAK – Doug passed away on Monday, July 1, 2019 at his home with his family by his side.  He is survived his wife Barb; sons, Scott (Katherine) & Ryan; daughter Kari (Jamie); granddaughters, Kendall, Sasha, Bree & Rhynn; brothers Kevin & Lane (Lynette) and his sister Annetta (Murray).   He was predeceased by his grandson Logan and his parents.  A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, July 8, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Eagles Hall in Swift Current, SK.  For further information or to sign the family book of condolence, visit www.parksidefuneralhome.com.  Arrangements in care of Parkside Memorial Funeral Home – Ryan Cappelle.

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be,

so He put His arms around you, And whispered “Come To Me.” 

With tearful eyes we watched you. And saw you pass away. 

A golden heart stopped beating.  Hard working hands at rest. 

God broke our hearts to show us, He only takes the Best.

  He never looked for praises,

He was never on to boast. 

He went on quietly working,

for the ones he loved the most. 

His dreams were seldom spoken,

His wants were very few,

and most the time his worries,

went unspoken too. 

His one and only wish,

His only dying request,

To ensure the care of his beloved Barb. 

And I promise Dad…. I will do my best.
