Obituary of Evelyn Modin

MODIN – Evelyn  passed away on September 8, 2018 at Cypress House in Swift Current, SK.  Evelyn was born on July 17, 1928 to Monty and Alice Gaynor in Calgary, AB.  She is survived by her daughter Carol (Gary) Coombs; son Brent (Sheryl) Modin; grandchildren Kyle, Brandon, Connor, and Monty Modin (Ashley).  She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Harry, sisters Dorothy (Ed) Thielen, Lillian (Joe) Allen and brother Bobby Gaynor.  Evelyn worked for the Alberta government and Woodward’s in her younger years and they was the bookkeeper for Harry’s Swift Radiator Service.  She loved her church and was very involved in Full Gospel Church, Mission of Mercy (India) and the Bible League.  She loved spending time with her family.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Full Gospel Church with Pastor Dave Clarke officiating.  The interment will take place at a later date.  Those wishing to make a donation in Evelyn’s memory can do so to the Full Gospel Church or to Mission of Mercy.  For further information or to sign the family book of condolence, visit www.parksidefuneralhome.com.  Arrangements in care of Parkside Memorial Funeral Home
