He enjoyed going to Easter Seals Camp and he also loved bowling.  He liked to give the girls at work a hard time, joking and teasing them.  Robert also loved to dance.  He always had a glint in his eye and a smile on his face when you went to visit him.  He was always so proud of his family.  He also loved his Tim Horton’s coffee.  He would go walk downtown even if it was 40 below every Saturday and Sunday. People around town would always comment, ‘That’s your brother that we always see walking from the southside?” He would walk through Home Hardware just to say hi to his sister Marie.  Robert moved to Maple Creek in September 2016 where he was at the group home for a year.  He later was moved to the Long Term care for his last year of life.  A celebration of life gathering was held on Friday, September 14, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Parkside Memorial Funeral Home.  For further information or to sign the family book of condolence, visit  Arrangements are in care of Parkside Memorial Funeral Home – Ryan Cappelle.
