STOLZ – Erma Elinoria (nee Leipert) was born on August 4, 1926 in Leader, SK to Johann Fredrich (Fred) Leipert (1965) and Emelia (Angerman) Leipert (1959). She passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at the Mankota Prairie View Health Centre. She attended school at Dirksburg County School south of Leader, SK. Erma united in marriage to Emil Stolz on April 8, 1945 at St. John Church in Leader, SK by Reverend Phillip Becker. They operated a garage in Mendham from 1946 – 1949, in 1949 and 1950 they moved to Yorkton, SK to assist a cousin in operating a garage. In 1950 they moved to Tompkins and worked and operated garages there. They had 3 sons; Dennis, Kenneth and Brian. In 1960 they moved to a farm south of Tompkins. In 1974 they retired in Tompkins. Erma was predeceased by husband Emil Stolz on January 7, 1984; her parents Emelia Leipert (1959) and Johann (Fred) Leipert (1965); brothers William, Alfred, Harry, Alvin; sisters Sophie and Olga and sister-in-law Elise (Biel) and Irene (Alfred) Leipert. In approximately 2001 Erma moved to Heritage Towers in Swift Current, then later due to health issues in February 2014 she moved to Mankota Prairie View Health Centre where she received excellent care and was very happy there. She leaves behind the following family members to mourn; brother Lawrence (Violet) and their families, brother-in-law August (Doreen) Stolz, sister-in-law Esther Leipert; her sons: Dennis (Gladys) and family – Darla (Terry) Sinclair, Scott Sinclair, Trista Sinclair, Amanda Sinclair, Maddison Sinclair; Robert (Celine) Stolz, Johnathan Stolz, Amy Stolz; Robert Laing (Dennis’ son); Son Kenneth (Roselea) Stolz and children – Carolyn Heppner, Riley, Avery; Jennifer Watson (Brett), Lynaye Watson, Roderick Stolz, Joelle Stolz; son Brian Stolz (Franncine), Justin Stolz, Kon Stolz, Avenda Stolz, Joleen Stolz and many more nieces, nephews and cousins. Erma enjoyed traveling with 2 trips to Germany, and was always on the road going somewhere. She also loved fishing, duck hunting, playing cards, collecting spoons, reading and family times together. Donations may be made to the Salvation Army, the Mankota Prairie View Health Centre or to the Tompkins Memorial Hall Fund. A funeral service was held on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Tompkins Community Hall. For further information or to sign the family book of condolence, visit www.parksidehome.com .
