WALL Mrs. Helen (Heinricks), of the Herbert Nursing Home passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2008 at the Cypress Regional Hospital, at the age of 89. Mom was born on September 21, 1918 in the Pambrun district to Jacob and Katherine Heinricks. Mom was the third oldest of 12 children. In 1940 Mom married Isaac B. Wall and they lived in a 12 x 14 granary on the Wall family farm. In 1944 they purchased the Reeves farm and lived there until the spring of 1950 when they moved to a farm south of Neville. In 1955 they purchased the Hunt farm and lived there until Dad’s passing in 1969. At this time Mom moved to Neville for 2 years. In 1971 she moved and lived in her house in Swift Current for 30 years. In 2001 Mom moved to the Golden West Manor staying there until her health failed and in 2007 she moved into the Herbert Nursing Home until her passing. Mom was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Mom had a very strong love and faith in her Lord and Saviour and shared that faith and expressed God’s love with everyone. Mom was always ready with a helping hand when the community or family needed it, be it caring for children, cooking or baking. She did volunteer work by phoning and making quilts for the Red Cross. Mom worked at the Prairie Pioneers Lodge and was very proud of her 10-year service plaque that she received. She loved sewing, crocheting, knitting and making quilts for the family. She also loved to spend time in her garden. Mom’s greatest joy was spending time with the family. Her unconditional love and daily prayers will be greatly missed by the family. “We love you Forever, Mother and will miss you.” Mom is survived by her Children: Kathleen (Dave) Ens, Swift Current, Philip (Esther) Wall, Wymark, Joan Murphy, Calgary, Daughter-in-law, Nancy Baumann-Wall, Wymark; Grandchildren: Brent (Dallas) Ens, Blaine (Nadine) Ens; Kirk (Lynette) Wall, Kent (Nadine) Wall, Lance (Cindy) Wall, Laine (Denise) Wall; Chad (Penny) Wall, Craig (Tamra) Wall, Timothy (Neysa) Wall, Tyler (Carmen) Wall; Greg (Genevieve) Murphy, Travis Murphy; Step-grandchildren: Kevin (Janine) Baumann, Craig (Christie) Baumann, Ryan Baumann; 22 Great-grandchildren; 4 Step-great-grandchildren; 4 special great-great-grandchildren; 6 Sisters; 5 Brothers-in-law; 4 Sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews. Mom was predeceased by her husband, Isaac; parents, Jacob and Katherine Heinricks; parents-in-law, Peter and Maria Wall; son, Peter Kenneth Wall; grandchildren, Brian and Marilyn Ens; great-grandchildren, Philip Gordon Wall, and Franklin Ens; 2 sisters; 3 brothers; 8 brothers-in-law; and 8 sisters-in-law. The funeral service was held on Saturday, March 1, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Church of The Open Bible with Pastor Rob Cochrane officiating. The pianist was Wendy Cochrane with Barb Mirau as the soloist. The pallbearers are her remaining 12 of 13 grandsons: Brent and Blaine Ens, Kirk, Kent, Lance and Laine Wall, Chad, Craig, Tim and Tyler Wall, and Greg and Travis Murphy. The ushers were, Kevin, Craig and Ryan Baumann. Tribute and memories was shared by her children, Philip Wall and Joan Murphy. The interment was held at the Neville Cemetery. For those wishing, donations to the Church of the Open Bible Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
