CLOSE Mr. Clarence Morgan passed away with family at his side on Tuesday, April 15, 2008, at age 87. Clarence was born February 12, 1921 in Fordville, North Dakota. Clarence was a member of the Regina Rifles during WWII. He was predeceased by his parents, Morgan and Alice Close; brother, Cecil; and his wife, Edna. Clarence is survived by his daughters: Sharon (Charles) Wiens, Sharlene (Frank) White, Gwen Close (John La Marche); sister, Vivian Fitzpatrick; granddaughters: Tammy (Kevin) Haglund, Leanne Wiens, Melissa (Tyler) Gingrich, Brit Matthews; great-grandchildren: Amanda, Tristan and Adam Haglund, and Caitlyn Gingrich; as well as many nieces and nephews. The funeral service was held on Saturday, April 19, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Parkside Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Archdeacon Rob Hardwick officiating. The organist was Arlene Olson. The interment was held at Hillcrest Cemetery, Swift Current, Saskatchewan. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
