HERON — Frederick Fulton died peacefully with his family by his side as the evening sun was setting on Friday, June 20, 2008 at the age of 90 years and 11 days. Fulton was born on the family homestead (NE 24 19 20) to Robert (Fred) and Lulia Heron on June 9, 1918. He attended school at Waldensian Valley School #743 and farmed with his father until joining the RCAF in 1941 and spending the next year and a half at a number of Training Stations in Canada before going overseas in 1943, where he was posted with #6 Bomber Group at Yorkshire, England.
