Obituary of Allan Gayle Zacharias

ZACHARIAS – Allan Gayle passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at his home. Allan was born April 20, 1943 to Abram and Agnes Zacharias. He was a self-employed carpenter and worked at the Research Station in Swift Current for many years. Allan also lived in Calgary for a number of years until his retirement when he decided to move back to Swift Current. Allan enjoyed visiting with friends and keeping up on all the happenings in town. He also enjoyed having his Ginger ale at the Brew Pub. He is survived by his son, Doug; daughter Rhonda and her children, Claire, Mitchel, Hanna; his sister Colleen Kozan (Zenon); brothers Wayne (Sally) and Eddie as well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, his brother Russell and sister Jean. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in memory of Allan would be appreciated by the family. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 2:00 pm. at Parkside Memorial Funeral Home. The interment will take place at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Swift Current, SK.
