Obituary of Evelyn Williams

Evelyn passed away in Calgary, AB on May 5, 2017. She was born June 7, 1920 to the late Fred and Blanche Orum. Evelyn is survived by her daughters Lynn (George) Comeau and their children Lindsay (Jordan) and Blake (Lacey) and Marlene Hopkinson and her children Brett (Chantal) and Kendra and their father Nigel Hopkinson, as well as great grandchildren Zoie and Finley Comeau and Nixon and Haedyn Richards. Evelyn was predeceased by her husband Bob (2002) and her parents Fred and Blanche Orum. Evelyn was united in marriage to Bob Williams on July 16, 1948 in Swift Current, SK. She was a member of First United Church UCW and a Rotary Ann for numerous years. In her free time, Evelyn enjoyed baking for her family and friends, knitting, crocheting and gardening. Evelyn’s greatest pleasure was to follow the activities and accomplishments of her grandchildren, great grandchildren and special family member, Jenesse Chamberlin. Evelyn will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. A family memorial will be held at a later date.
