GERBRANDT – Margaret (June 11, 1919 – July 25, 2017) Margaret was born on June 11, 1919 to Martin Broesky and Katherine (Dyck) at Glen Kerr, SK. Margaret married Jacob Gerbrandt on August 1, 1943. They resided in Swift Current, SK from 1961 until her passing. Margaret passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at the Meadows Care Centre, Swift Current, SK. Margaret is survived by her children: Elmer (Adelina) Gerbrandt of Airdrie, AB, Gordon (Mary) Gerbrandt of Regina, SK, Verna (Kelvin) Berg of Swift Current, SK; grandchildren Roxanne (Blair) Brodie of Edmonton, Sheldon Gerbrandt of Montreal, Jayme Gerbrandt of Red Deer, Lisa (Deane) Gerbrandt of Regina, Cory (Samantha) Gerbrandt of Regina, Michael Berg of Edmonton, Amanda Williams of Sylvan Lake and Darren Berg of Edmonton. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren: Nate Gerbrandt, Rossi Gerbrandt, Reece Gerbrandt, Jonathan Brumwell, Janae Brumwell, Jacelynn Brumwell, Hunter Gerbrandt, Hope Gerbrandt, Hudson Gerbrandt, Hollie Gerbrandt, Lyric Williams, Rhythm Williams and sisters-in-law Helen Vogt and Susie Franson. Margaret was predeceased by her daughter Jean Gerbrandt (November 1, 1945); her husband Jacob (December 1, 2001); her parents Martin and Katherine Broesky; her siblings Abraham & Eve Broesky, Anna & Henry Jansen, Katherine & Jack Dyck, Martin Broesky, Mary & Jacob Martins, John & Margaret Broesky, David & Susie Vogt, two Eva Vogts that died in infancy and Agatha & Peter Broesky. Margaret will be missed and fondly remembered by many. Special “Thanks” to the staff at the Swift Current Meadows Care Centre for all their kind and caring care and support.
