Obituary of Marge Walker

Walker, Marjorie (Bradshaw), age 92 of Swift Current passed away peacefully July 3, 2010 in the Cypress Regional Hospital Swift Current. The memorial service will be held at St Stephen’s Anglican Church on July 12th, 2010.
A private interment service at Mount Pleasant Cemetery will precede the service. Marjorie, affectionately known as “Marge”, was born in Swift Current July 20, 1917. She was a member of St. Stephen’s ACW and Swift Current Legion Ladies for many years. Marge was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She was a Bronco Hockey and Indians Baseball fan. She enjoyed playing cards, watching sports on TV, having coffee with friends and socializing with her family. Marjorie was predeceased by her husband, Jim Walker, and her sister, Doris Hodges. She is survived by her son, Gary (wife Arlene) of Swift Current, SK, granddaughter, Jill Hartmann Proctor (husband Brendan) and grandchildren, Arthur, Richard, Taylor, Wyatt J. and Lauren of Langham, SK, grandson, Blaine Walker (wife Karen) of Calgary, Alberta. Her daughter, Delee Wells (husband Mike) of Saskatoon, SK, grandsons, Steven Wells (partner Nicole) of Vancouver, B.C., Mark Wells (partner Jasmine) of Saskatoon, SK, granddaughter, Shelby Wells (partner Ryan) of Regina, SK. The family would like to thank Dr. Tagboto, Dr. Khonje and the staff who took care of Marge during her recent stay in hospital. Our thanks to Parkside Memorial Funeral Home and St. Stephens Anglican Church. Thank you on her behalf to all of her friends for their support and caring. The family requests any memorial donations be made to Samaritan’s Purse Canada, 20 Hopewell Way N.E., Calgary, Alberta, T3J 5H5 or the charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Parkside Memorial Funeral Home, Swift Current, SK.
