BEISEL Mrs. Elizabeth (Betty), passed away at the age of 83 years on November 5, 2010 at the Palliser Regional Care Centre is Swift Current. Betty was born on July 30, 1927 in Rush lake, Saskatchewan. Betty was predeceased by her parents, Cornelius and Helena Harder, and all ten of her siblings. She is survived by her beloved husband and soul mate, Sam Beisel, of Swift Current, SK; daughter, Doreen Beisel, of Swift Current, SK; son, Alan Beisel, daughter in law, Becky Beisel, grandchildren, Khrystyna, Cristoffer and Kyle Beisel of Medicine Hat, AB; son, Robert Beisel ,of Swift Current, SK. Born at home in Rush Lake and spending her school years there, Betty then went on to Swift Current working, cleaning houses and waitressing. In December 1957 Betty married Sam moving them to Tompkins, where they were blessed with their three children. Betty enjoyed her family and friends throughout her life. In December 2005 due to health issues Betty and Sam moved back to Swift Current. In March 2007 Betty moved into the Palliser Regional Care Centre. Betty was extremely happy in the Palliser Centre and enjoyed her new found friends and extended family. Betty passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday morning. Betty was an extremely important part of her family and with her passing there is a void that can never be filled, she will be forever missed by everyone who had the chance to know and love her. Her funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at Parkside Memorial Funeral Chapel with Reverend Bev Diduck officiating. The interment will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Saskatchewan Parkinson’s Disease Foundation or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
