WILLIAMS – Bryan Williams of Pennant passed away August 10, 2011, after a brief battle with cancer. Bryan was born July 19, 1949, in Swift Current and lived his entire life in the Pennant area. He was the third generation to work on the family farm and was a volunteer firefighter for the RM of Riverside. Bryan is survived by his wife, Joan, two daughters Brittany (Adam Burns) of Burnaby, BC, and Keely (Ethan Anderson) of Regina, his sisters Jan Williams-Russell (Lach) and Melanie Williams, brothers Hugh (Joanne) and Steven as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Earl and Dorothy Williams. Bryan had many interests from photography, reading, bird watching, camping and fishing to sampling fine wines and single malt scotches. Bryan loved the outdoors and spent many a day hiking in the river hills he loved. A celebration of his life was held on August 16 at the Pennant Hall. Donations in his memory can be made to Nature Saskatchewan, the Swift Current Lyric Theatre or the Pennant Playground Fund. Parkside Memorial Funeral Home were entrusted with the arrangements.
