MILAS – Albert was born on March 6, 1936 in Athens, Greece and immigrated to Canada in 1953. He was predeceased by his parents and a great-grandson. Albert is survived by his wife of 20 years Sharon Milas and children; daughter, Phyllis (Bruce) Henderson; sons Jimmie Milas, Manny Milas; grandchildren Nicole (Ron) Almen, Amy Milas, Jack Henderson, Scott Henderson and step family; Mother-in-law, sister-in-law, daughter Brenda; sons Brad, Garth, Brent and 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren and countless friends. Albert was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend and will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him. He loved golfing, fishing and was a tireless volunteer at the church. He was never too busy to talk or advise anyone seeking his help. He was also a very skilled, creative man who excelled at many things. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Life Giving Font Greek Orthodox Church with Father Spyridon Vandoros officiating. The pallbearers were: Blair Gehl, Scott Shauf, Don Beyer, George Tsougrianis, Jimmy Kalousis and Ron Almen. The interment took place at Hillcrest Cemetery, Swift Current, SK. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Saskatoon Cancer Clinic at University Hospital in memory of Albert.
