Lillian Agnes (Friesen) August 25, 1927 – June 14, 2012. Lillian Thiessen, beloved wife of Peter Thiessen passed away on June 14, 2012 at the Herbert Nursing Home. She passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus. She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 66 years Peter; her daughter Floreen Reid (Doug Cunningham); her son Clifford (Laorrat); grandchildren Rodney (Nicole) Reid; Kevin Reid (Corleen Wychreschuk); Panadda & Apisit Kerdtaweekit; sisters Martha (Dave) Neufeld; Doris (Ivan) Stevens; brothers Ed (Keitha) Friesen; Herman (Sandy) Friesen; George (Sharon) Friesen; Harvey (Irene) Friesen; Clarence ( Susan) Friesen; sisters-in-law Leona Mayer; Tina Thiessen; Eleanor (Norman) Goertzen; Anita Thiessen, brothers-in-law Norman (lleine) Thiessen. She was predeceased by her parents Wilhelm & Lena Friesen; in laws Abe & Mary Thiessen; son-in-law Michael Reid; broths-in-law Henry & Lydia Thiessen; Wally Thiessen; Leonard Thiessen; Ed Biech and Clarence Mayer. Lillian was born and raised in Herbert, SK. Lillian and Peter were married November 24, 1946. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and doing crafts. The funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Living Faith Fellowship Church in Herbert with Pastor Ken Epp officiating. The interment took place at the Herbert Cemetery, Herbert, SK. Donations in memory of Lillian can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Saskatchewan.
