MOEN Mr. Scott Wayne, aged 32 years of Swift Current and formerly of Stewart Valley passed away on January 9, 2013 with his family by his side. Scott was born on June 19, 1980 in Swift Current. Scott was baptized at Bethel Prairie in Stewart Valley. He attended school in Swift Current and high school at the comp. He furthered his education at the University of Lethbridge , finishing in business marketing. Scott loved to spend time with his parents and grandparents. He also loved to spend time with his niece and nephew, teaching them new things. Scott also enjoyed golfing and playing hockey, as well as watching many other sports with Shawn and Karen Bender and their two children, Kinsey and Boone. Scott will be greatly missed by his parents, Murray and Laurie Moen; his brother, Raymond (Melinda); his niece, Aleaha and nephew, Tydon; his grandparents, Lawrence and Irene Quennell, Grandma Francis Moen and all of his aunts, uncles, cousins and many others whom he touched throughout his lifetime. Scott was predeceased by his grandfather, Aldin Moen. A celebration of Scott’s life was held on January 16, 2013 at Walker Place in Swift Current. Memorial donations may be made to Lupus Research, Diabetes Foundation or the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Parkside Memorial Funeral Home, Swift Current, Saskatchewan.
