LIGGETT – Harley Tyrone Liggett, 75, of Hodgeville, SK, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2016 at Cypress Regional Hospital in Swift Current, SK. Harley was born on January 2, 1941, son of late Henry and Mary Liggett of Bengough, SK. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Eleanor Lorraine Moen; one daughter Janell, husband Leland Schwartz of Calgary, AB; three sons – Michael, wife Brenda of Bow Island, AB; Robert, wife Kyla of Melfort, SK and Tracy, wife Barb of Herbert, SK. He is also survived by five (5) grandchildren, Jennifer Schwartz, Tyrell Schwartz, both of Calgary, AB; Devean Liggett of Bow Island, AB, Taylor Liggett of Lethbridge, AB and Jordan Liggett of Bow Island, AB. He is also survived by brother and sister in-laws as well as many nephews and nieces. Harley and Eleanor made home in Hodgeville, SK for more than 46 years. He worked initially for the RM of Lawtonia and then the RM of Shamrock as a grader operator until his retirement. Harley spent years coaching ladies fastball as well hockey, referring hockey and umping baseball. He was active in the community and the Elks Lodge and proud to call Hodgeville home. Harley has selected to be cremated. A graveside service for family will be held at the Hodgeville cemetery. Friends are welcome to join the family at the Hodgeville Community Hall on Saturday, February 27th at 2:00 p.m. for light lunch to celebrate in the life of this special man.
