Obituary of Frances Lillian Cherkowski

CHERKOWSKI – Frances Lillian (Kirkpatrick) 76 of Cabri, SK passed away peacefully on September 8, 2014 at the Prairie Health Care Center, Cabri, SK. Frances was predeceased by her husband, Albert; parents William C. and Lily (Marshall) Kirkpatrick; 2 brothers, Cyril, David; 3 half brothers, William, James and Roy Kirkpatrick; 6 half sisters, Marion Freeman, Helen Murrary, Evelyn Coonan, Gertrude Frey, Kathleen Makepeace and Margaret Manners. Frances is survived by her 2 daughters, Deb (Dan) Hind of Porcupine Plain, SK and Barbara (Craig) Mostat of Sherwood Park, AB; 2 sons, Brian (Leanne) Cherkowski of Cabri and Robert (Krystal) Cherkowski of Cabri, SK; 3 granddaughters, Kelsey, Bryanna and Taylor; four grandsons, David (Pam), Douglas (Alycia), Devin (Alyshia) and Layton; 3 great-grandsons, Saxon, Mason and newborn Bentley; one aunt Tillie Andrews of Surrey, BC; and one half brother, Ken Kirkpatrick of Fonthill, ON. A private graveside service was held on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at the Cabri Cemetery, Cabri, SK. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cabri Cemetery Fund. The family of Frances wish to thank the doctor and great staff at Prairie Health Care Center for their wonderful care and support over the past months and especially during her final days.
