Obituary of Caroline Elaine Preston

PRESTON – Caroline was born April 21, 1951 in Swift Current, SK and attended school in Wymark and then in Swift Current and graduated from the Comprehensive High School. She won the bronze medal in Women’s Basket Ball in the Provincial Games. She worked at the Booster in Swift Current for several years as a supervisor and was well liked by all who worked with her. She enjoyed many sports and was a fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Saskatchewan Rough Riders. She is survived by her mother Agatha Handwork and her brother Rob Elias. She passed away on July 13, 2015 at the Gull Lake Special Care Home. She will be missed by her family and friends. Donations may be made to the Gideons in memory of Caroline. A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Trailview Alliance Church with Pastor Blair Froese officiating. The interment was held at Schantzenfeld Cemetery.
