To Lucille’s Family:
Your Mom has been a part of the Bridgeway Community for a long time and I appreciated her friendly positive cheerfulness. About a year and a half ago we met in the Toronto airport. She was on her way home from visiting one of you and she had fallen, I believe? And her stay had been unexpectedly extended. We were on our way to Europe. When you meet someone you know in a place you don’t expect to it’s like you’re best friends. We had such a nice little visit. She didn’t seem like she was 95! She had a timelessness I can only hope for!
I could only attend part of the funeral yesterday. But I wanted to honour your Mom. I had one grandchild with me and had to get home before 3 more got home from school. But I feel like just hearing Matthew sing that song was all I needed to hear. Such a beautiful tender voice. Please thank him for doing that. And all the grandchildren for their heartfelt comments.

I have many wonderful memories of Margo’s mom from our high school days. She was a woman with so much love for everyone. She accepted all of us as her children and we truly felt loved by her.
