KITTY-OSTGAARD – Marion was born December 24, 1952 to her parents John and Eva in Rose Valley, Saskatchewan. She began her life in Porcupine Plain, Saskatchewan and belonged to the Yellow Quill First Nation. Throughout her life she had lived in Swift Current, Saskatoon, and Calgary, Alberta where she developed a love for the mountains that she made many trips too and called them her home. She always loved life and knew that family and friends are most important. She loved to dance to any music that was playing and her beautiful spirit was one that everyone was drawn to and she could not help but to show love to all around her. Marion passed away on June 18th, 2018 at the age of 65 at the Meadows Long-Term Care Facility in Swift Current. Marion is proceeded by her sister Diane Kitty and prior husband Harold Ostgaard. She is survived by Steve Herring and her children; Allan Dion, Wally Dion and his wife Sophia, Debbie Dion, Jennifer Kitty, and Jonathan Ostgaard, her grandchildren; Monique and Dorian Kitty, Raven Dion, Sydney Young and Harold Ostgaard as well as her great grandchild Emmet.
