BULBECK, Mr. John, age 63, of Swift Current, SK, passed away on Tuesday November 3, 2015 at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, SK with his wife Louise and daughters Jackie and Lisa at his bedside. John is survived by his loving wife Louise; two daughters Jackie (Chris) Voth and Lisa (Ryan) Bender; four grandchildren Taylor, Parker, Jake and Dane; sisters in-law and brothers in-law Florence, Diana (Gordy), Alex, Albert (Vickie); nieces and nephews Ashleigh, Brent (Trisha), Cindy (Phil) and all their children; 7 step brothers and sisters; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. John was predeceased by his parents Mary (Queenie) and Alfred (Art) Bulbeck; step mother Rose Bulbeck and brother in-law George Fontaine. John was born on October 5, 1952 in Swift Current, SK. He was raised in the Neidpath area where he was heavily involved in 4H and grew up close to his cousins. In 1966, his family relocated to a farm at Eastend. In 1972 John and Louise were married in Claydon, SK when he was working for the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool. In 1976, they had their first daughter Jackie and moved to Swift Current where John worked for SGI. John made many good friends and memories while he was employed with SGI. In 1981, they had their second daughter Lisa. The family moved a cabin out to Beaver Flat, SK in 1982 where they enjoyed many memories as a family and with their many friends. In 2000, John became a Grandpa for the first time and was a wonderful grandpa. Anyone who saw John with his grandchildren knew that he loved those kids. John and Louise loved going on holidays; whether it be to British Columbia or drive down to Las Vegas or Palm Springs to enjoy the warmer weather. John also had many friends; many who have been friends for most his life. Memorial service for John was held on Friday November 6, 2015 at 11 am at East Side Church of God with Pastor Kevan Baum officiating. The eulogy and tributes were delivered by nephew Brent McPherson with a special reading by granddaughter Taylor Voth. The honorary pallbearers were all who knew and loved him.
