Obituary of Sylvia Diane Fifield

FIFIELD – Sylvia Diane passed away peacefully on Friday October 20th 2017 at Cypress House in Swift Current Saskatchewan. Sylvia was born in Gull Lake Saskatchewan on September 16th 1941 to Lillian and William Morgan. She attended school in Gull Lake and Nursing College in Medicine Hat. She worked as a Nurses Aid in Gull Lake and Swift Current before her first marriage to George Wall in 1962. She married Harold Fifield in 1972 and worked alongside him on their farm for 19 years before they retired to Saskatoon in 1991 where they enjoyed an active church life and time with their many friends. She was a loving and caring mother to her four children Glenda (Terry), Carla (Kelly), Kerri and Colin (Lianne). She was pre-deceased by her father William Morgan (1984), mother Lillian Morgan (1993,) brother Farrell (2002), sister Carolyn (2008), and husband Harold (2010). She was dearly loved and will be missed by her four children, her sister Rosalie, her grandchildren Craig, Dustin, Amber, Tyler, Alysha, Cody, Rylee, Alex, Daniel, Amariah, Genevieve and Micah, and her many great-grandchildren. Special thanks to the staff at Cypress House for their loving and dedicated care. Family and friends may visit at Parkside Memorial Funeral Home, 69 – 4th Avenue NE Swift Current, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m on Monday October 23rd. Funeral services will be held at Full Gospel Church 72 4 Ave NE Swift Current on Tuesday October 24th at 2:00 p.m. to be followed by lunch and a sharing of memories.
