Obituary of Marcel Cote

COTE – Marcel passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at the Cypress Regional Hospital in Swift Current, SK. He was born November 15, 1934 at Ponteix, SK. He is survived by his sons Michael (Margaret), grandsons Jeff (Brandi), Allan (Lorel), great-grandchildren Kalib, Tayden, Amiayha; Gaston (Michelle), grandsons Bryden, Jordan, Brett; wife Donna, step-children Rosalie, Michele, Craig, Maureen, Carey and their families; brother Roger (Shirley); numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife (Margaret) and parents and siblings. Marcel farmed south of Admiral for many years. He enjoyed carpentry, mechanical work and camping with his family and grandchildren. He also enjoyed visiting with family and friends within the community. As to Cote tradition Marcel loved driving and sight-seeing. Marcel was always very willing to help out with projects for family and friends. He also loved attending family events. A funeral mass was held on Friday, September 18, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Christ The Redeemer Roman Catholic Parish with Father Richard Jasiak MSF officiating. The pallbearers were Allan Lendvay, Bryden Cote, Jordan Cote, Brian McGovern, Tim Cochrane and Stephen Ward. The honorary pallbearers were Brett Cote and Jeff Lendvay.
