To Joanne, John, Sandy and Craig: I’m so very sorry about Eleanor’s passing. She was a wonderful aunt to me, and I have so many memories of her, starting from when Ken and Eleanor came to Vancouver on their honeymoon. I spent several summers on the farm, and learned that cream puffs were a satisfying Saturday night supper. So many memories; dear memories of your Mum. My love to you all.

Joanne, John, Sandra and Craig – sorry for your loss. Just last week I was telling my daughter about mom and Elinor making lefsa for hours on end. This story was sparked from the ‘Bardahl Lefsa’ we were enjoying!! I will always remember your Mom’s contagious laughter and welcoming smile and the many memories from growing up near you and your parents. I hope you will find peace knowing that although we refer to death as the end, it is really a new beginning, both for you and your Mom.

My thoughts are with all of my “big sister’s” family at this time. Visiting out on the Bardahl family during my teenage years was always a treat, and how I enjoyed the warm family atmosphere there. I will miss her greatly. I regret that I am unable to attend the funeral, and send my deepest sympathy to my nieces, nephews, and their families.
