Terry was my god-mother, a wonderful woman who I will always remember. Although my memories are from many years past, I will always remember her as someone who always smiled.
When I was young I stayed with Art and Terry and their family at the Ponderosa Campground, Terry always made sure I had lots of ice-cream from the store; she smiled as she served it up. I still remember that time as a ‘good memory’ from many years ago.
Just a few years ago, at my Father William’s funeral, I had a chance to visit with Terry again and, of course, she had another smile for me.
Most recently, within the last 2 years, I was visiting my Mom Darlene in Medicine Hat with my daughter Maya (8), when Art and Terry dropped by to visit. Terry talked with daughter Maya, and then congratulated me, a great smile throughout; I so much enjoyed that visit. Of course another memory, Terry smiled.
She was such a warm and wonderful person, I was lucky to have her as a god-mother; her smile will remain with me, as I am sure many others, forever.
