HEINRICHS – John F. passed away peacefully August 25, 2015 at the Palliser Regional Care Centre at the age of 85 years with his family by his side. He was born to Isaac & Sara Heinrichs on January 4, 1930 at the family home in Chortitz, SK. He married Sarah Neustaeter on October 14, 1951. Together they had 7 children; dads love for his children was always evident. He attended Versailles School, finishing with a grade 8 education. He then went to work at various jobs before starting to work with C.P. Rail. His next job was working as a janitor at the SCCHS in 1971. Dad enjoyed working on his vehicles, socializing with his friends, playing guitar and listening to music. Dad spent many hours reading and studying the Bible, also sharing the Word with his children. His Bible was always close at hand. Through all of his trials and tribulations his faith never wavered. John was predeceased by his parents Isaac & Sara Heinrichs; wife Sarah, eldest daughter Sadie Reddekopp, grandson Shane Heinrichs; brothers Henry in infancy, Abe, Ike, Peter, Karl, Jim, his sister Helen & Husband John Neustaeter, brother-in-law Terry Pukas, nephew Trevor Pukas and niece Theodora Neustaeter. John is survived by 6 children: Marion, John (Suzanne), Bill (Dora), Trudy (Les) Fisher, Randy (Marlene), David; his son-in-law Cornie Reddekopp, 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild on the way. He is also survived by: his brothers, Jake, Harry (Hannah), Ed (Judy), Ernie; sister Sally (Wayne) Zacharias, Jesse (Abe) Neustaeter; sister-in-laws, Phyllis, Frances, Laura and many nieces, nephews and extended family. The funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Parkside Memorial Funeral Home with Archie Neufeld officiating.
