Obituary of Amber Dawn Poh

POH – AMBER passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2017 in Saskatoon, SK. She was born July 14, 1989 in Swift Current, SK to parents Gerald & Cheryl Poh. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Sam Poh and Ron & Jean Barber. Amber is survived by her parents, Gerald & Cheryl; brothers Shawn (Ramie) and their son Osten, Jeffrey (Heather) and their daughter Kyla; twin sister Amanda and friend Josh; grandma Rose Poh; uncle Don Poh and family; auntie Pat Dahlgren and family; auntie Joan Poh and family; uncle Calvin Barber and family; auntie Tara Bubyn and family and special friends, Kari & Darwin Hodges and family. Amber attended Oman Elementary School, Fairview Middle School and Swift Current Comprehensive High School. She completed her education in 2009 graduating from Maverick School. Amber grew her wings early, moving from the family home at 15 years old. She made many friends throughout the years at her various jobs. Most recently, in Swift Current Tim Hortons and Walmart. July 2016, Amber started a new chapter in life by moving to Saskatoon. She had been accepted in the Continuing Care Aid Program through Sask Poly Technic. Amber had been working to save up for that next step. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Parkside Memorial Funeral Home.
