BOLTON – Sheila, age 72, of Swift Current, SK, passed away peacefully in her home on the family farm on February 4, 2016. Sheila is predeceased by her mother and father, Edythe and Edwin Stolhandske, as well as her father-in-law Everett Bolton. Sheila is survived by her loving husband Gerald, two sons Stacy (Jacquie) Bolton, Vince (Kathy) Bolton and two grandchildren Shae-Lynn and Kyla Bolton; brother Keith (Brenna) Stolhandske, brother-in-law Brent (Cyndi) Bolton, mother-in-law Amy Bolton as well as four nieces and two nephews. Sheila was born on March 28 of 1943 in Swift Current, SK and she was raised in the Burnham area. She graduated from the nursing program at the University of Saskatchewan in 1964. The following year she married Gerald Bolton. Gerald and Sheila settled on a farm southeast of Swift Current after they were married. In 1967 they had their first son Vince Bolton. Their second son, Stacy, was born in 1969. As a kid growing up Sheila enjoyed fishing at Duncairn dam with her Grandpa Stolhandske during the summers. Much time was also spent over the years camping and waterskiing at the Duncairn dam. Later in life she continued to enjoy fishing, camping and a variety of outdoor activity with her family. She enjoyed days spent arrowhead hunting and watching her sons and granddaughters in any sports they took up over the years. Throughout her life she loved life on the farm and did anything she could to assist in the farming operation. Sheila will truly missed by her family and friends. A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. at the Eagles Hall. “For those wishing to make a donation in Sheila’s memory, donations can be made to the Swift Current Wildlife Federation Box 1144 Swift Current, SK S9H 3X3.
