Obituary of Harold Reimer

REIMER – Harold Lawrence, age 84 of the Herbert Nursing Home, formerly of Swift Current and Waldeck District passed away on April 9, 2015 at the Herbert & District Integrated Healthcare Facility. Harold leaves to cherish his memory; his sister Lena Meyer, his sister-in-law Helen (Vonau) Reimer, brother-in-law Pete Heinrichs and numerous nieces and nephews. Harold was born to August and Lydia Reimer of the Waldeck District on April 23, 1930. Harold truly loved farming and continued to do so until 2002. In 2007 he made a substantial donation to the new Cypress Regional Hospital and has the lab and x-ray department named after him. A funeral service was held on Friday, April 17, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Olaf Lutheran Church with Pastor Greg Kiel officiating. The pallbearers were: Lloyd Meyer, Maurice Meyer, Lyle Rempel, Ron Reimer, Dennis Reimer and Daryl Reimer. The interment took place at Peace Lutheran Cemetery.
