Cynthia Toney Obituary

TONEY – Cindy passed away peacefully surrounded by family. She had been battling cancer for the last 7 years. The last few weeks were spent at Clover House Palliative Care Unit in Swift Current where she received skillful loving care by the staff and her caregivers.


Cindy had many happy years growing up in Gull Lake involved in many activities. She excelled in sports played the piano and taught lessons. Cindy attended Mount Royal College to study Secretarial Science. Her last position was with the RCMP detachment in Swift Current for 30 years. Cindy was predeceased by her parents Dayton and Hazel Toney.


She leaves to mourn her passing her sister Deborah, Aunts, Uncles, cousins and dear friends and biological siblings.  A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be April 16,2025. Gifts of remembrance to Autumn House in Gull Lake. Arrangements are in care of Parkside Memorial Funeral Home – Ryan Cappelle & Hayden Cappelle.
