Gary was one of the first people that I met when I came to Swift Current in 1981. He just lived a few blocks away on 9th NW.. My husband at the time was involved in amateur Radio. Gary would come over to learn all about it. He always had a joke. And he always called me young lady, even though he was only four years older than I was. I was so happy For him when he told me he got married and when I met his wife. When I still drove school bus, beside his house was my first stop. He would always come and tell me a joke in the mornings. I would see him out and about. At market Square ,in the stores ,everywhere and he always stopped to talk to me. Gary you will most definitely be missed By anyone who knew you. Fly high young man. My husband also knew Gary as he worked with him at Acklands back before I even lived here.
