Obituary of Megan Heather Lloyd
LLOYD - Megan Heather passed away in Swift Current April.14/24 at the age of 40. She leaves to mourn her two daughters Adyson and Olivia, her parents, Raymond and Laurie, brother Steve (partner Mandy), sister Kristen (husband Chris), her nephews and nieces Michael, Stevie, Edward, Tessa and Sturgill. As well as numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
Megan was born March.8,1984 in Swift Current Union Hospital. Megan did her schooling in Gull Lake and graduated from Gull Lake high school in 2002. She made the trek to Medicine Hat to attend college but realized quickly it wasn’t her calling.
She was active in 4-H, with riding lessons in Carmichael with Rita. Megan was active in baseball during her schooling years. Spending her free time with her free time with her friends and family.
She was a free spirit who loved and lived life on her own terms. Megan had the most intoxicating attitude along with the most beautiful smile. She was always the life of the party even if there wasn’t a party. When she showed up - you knew things were going to be more fun. Her bubbly, happy go lucky personality was contagious and could brighten anyone’s day.
Megan had struggled with addiction and mental health over these last few years. But now her struggles are over and those demons she fought for so many years are gone. Megan is at peace and we need to find it in ourselves to be at peace as well, knowing she isn’t struggling anymore.
