Obituary of Peter Michael Gehl

GEHL – Peter Michael peacefully passed away January 30, 2017. He was born January 20, 1925 on the farm west of Hodgeville, attended Norfolk school and welding school in Edmonton before returning to farm. Peter married the love of his life, Myrtle, in 1958 and together they had two more children. Peter enjoyed travelling, woodwork and farming but most of all his visits with friends and family while fishing, playing cards and board games were his favorite times. He will be remembered for his generosity within his community, his family and friends. Peter was predeceased by his wife, Myrtle (2007). He will be sadly missed by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, sisters and brothers-in-law, many nieces, nephews and many friends.
