Eldon Angus McIntyre: June 15, 1941 – May 27, 2026

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Eldon Angus McIntyre on May 27, 2026, at the age of 84.

Eldon was born on June 15, 1941, in Cabri, Saskatchewan. Through hard work, determination, and an unwavering passion for the oil industry, he built a remarkable career and left a lasting impact on Saskatchewan. He was known for his strong work ethic, generous spirit, and commitment to supporting healthcare, education, and community initiatives throughout the province.

Eldon was predeceased by his beloved wife, Marilyn McIntyre; his parents, Albert (“Mac”) and Myrtle McIntyre; his brother, Albert McIntyre Jr.; and his sister, Tillie Marie McIntyre.

He leaves to cherish his memory his sister Donna and family, his children, Janet McIntosh (Jay), Joselyn Hughes (Ken), and Darrend McIntyre; his grandchildren, Kade McIntosh (Leah), Brett McIntosh (Amanda), Jessica Paquin (Josh), Daniel McIntyre (Kim), Noah Hughes (Liv), Hannah Hughes (Erik), Jorrden McIntyre, and Shanice McLeod; as well as great-grandchildren, Claire, Jackson, Amelia, William, Barrett, Jaymeson, Lucas, Anneva, and Greyson; extended family members, friends, and colleagues.

Eldon’s life was one of perseverance, dedication, and generosity. He will be remembered not only for the business he built, but for the countless lives he touched through his philanthropy, his willingness to lend a hand, and his enduring passion for both the oil industry and the Saskatchewan land he loved.

The family extends their sincere gratitude to all who have offered their support, prayers, and kindness during this difficult time.

A celebration of Eldon’s life will be held at the Hazlet Community Hall on Friday June 5 at 2pm.
