Nancy Baumann Wall Obituary

Nancy Ann Baumann Wall, born on June 6, 1945, passed away at the age of 80 on March 24, 2026 in Swift Current. Nancy grew up in the Wymark area and fulfilled her dream of becoming a teacher in 1965 after obtaining her teacher’s certificate at the University of Saskatchewan. She taught in various schools in the Chinook School Division and enjoyed her years teaching at the Spring Lake Hutterite Colony until her retirement.

On August 8, 1967, she married Ted Baumann and they moved to the farm at Wymark where they raised their three sons. Nancy endured a tremendous loss in 1993 when Ted died unexpectedly. On August 1, 1997, she married Ken Wall of Neville and lived on a farm in the Neville area until Ken’s passing. She then moved back to the Wymark farm until she relocated to Swift Current.

Nancy enjoyed spending time at Lac Pelletier, playing games of all sorts with anyone who dared to challenge her, travelling to many destinations, and tending to her flowers. Her most precious time was spent with her grandchildren, whether it be at the lake, watching dance, various sporting activities, or beating them at all sorts of games.

Nancy leaves to cherish her memory three sons: Kevin (Janine) Baumann of Saskatoon, Craig (Christy) Baumann of Viscount, and Ryan (Melanie) Baumann of Regina; four grandchildren: Kyra, Conall, Logan, and Owen; four stepsons: Kirk (Lynette) Wall, Kent (Jackie) Wall, Lance (Cindy) Wall, and Laine (Denise) Wall; step grandchildren: Miranda, Lucas, Bianca, Chance, Paige, Mikaela, Carter, Dylan, and Korbin. Also her three sisters: Mary Lou (Sid) Koethler, Lavonna Joan (Roland) Schafer, and Lorraine Kehler; her sister-in-law, Marion Baumann, and her brother-in-law, Rudy Baumann, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
