Donna Marie Wilker was born in Strasbourg, SK on April 26th, 1947 to Jake and Louise Wilker. She was raised on a small farm just a few miles East of town. She had four siblings Loretta, Vera, Don, and Gary who have all passed on now.

Donna moved to Ponteix in 71’ to be with her sister Vera. This is where she met Gary Wellbrock. They were married shortly after and started a family having three boys Sean (Stacey), Scott (Tamy), and Steve (Brigitte). She would raise her boys on the farm until leaving for Swift Current in 96 where she worked and resided for the remainder of her days. 

She was active in her church and was an Alanon sponsor for many years. She enjoyed gospel and country music, chatting with locals around town, farmers markets, and the sunsets of the prairies. 

Donna passed away peacefully on February 27th. She is survived by her three sons and six grandchildren; Megan (21), Molly (19), Austin (18), Sydney (16), Aubrey (14), and Mackenna (12). Donna will be laid to rest at her home town cemetery in Strasbourg. 

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Parkside Memorial Funeral Home with burial afterwards in Strasbourg, SK.
