Mrs. Doreen Scheetz, age 94, of Swift Current, passed away Monday morning, December 8th 2025. She was born Eva Doreen Lynch November 9th 1931 in Manor , Saskatchewan to Thomas and Dora Lynch. 

She was born and raised in Manor Saskatchewan but as a young adult she got a job in Swift Current doing hair. Not long after coming to Swift Current her suitor Ralph Scheetz moved to Swift Current and they got married November 10th, 1952. They settled in their home where she would live in for over 60 years and raise their 3 kids.

Doreen was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Ralph Scheetz. Also, by her parents and siblings; brother Wayne Lynch; and sisters Louis Macdonald and Gail Macaulay.

Doreen is survived by her 3 children; daughter Diane (Dwight) Anderson of Saskatoon; son Ron Scheetz of Calgary; son Kevin (Rhonda) Scheetz of Swift Current, Saskatchewan; 5 treasured grandchildren Danielle (Jeff Worms) Anderson, Dena (Mario Contrada) Anderson, Dustin Anderson; Brendan Scheetz and Rachel Scheetz; and 2 treasured great-grandchildren Jack and Jacob Worms. She is also survived by two brothers Wray (Mary) Lynch of Moose Jaw and Rick (Cheryl) Lynch of Manor. 

Doreen was a devoted friend, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was wonderful at tending her garden and beautiful flowerbeds, she also had a great love of puzzling.

She lived at her home until about 90 and shortly after briefly lived at the Bentley. She soon needed more full-time care, so she eventually moved into the Meadows.

She is fondly remembered by all who knew her. Service details are pending and to be announced at a later date.
