Pauline Neubauer, age 89, of Herbert, SK passed away peacefully on December 5, 2025 in the Herbert & District Integrated Facility.

A Private Family Graveside Service was held at Mount Pleasant Burial Park, Swift Current, SK on December 15, 2025. A Celebration of Life Service for Pauline will be announced at a later date.

Pauline was born in Montmartre, SK in 1936 to John and Mary Kisil.

Pauline is survived by her son Lionel and daughter-in-law Janet, sisters-in-law Mikeline, Pauline and Elaine as well as many nieces and nephews. Pauline is preceded in death by her husband John, daughter Judy, son-in-law Zak and son Stuart; by her parents, John and Mary Kisil; by her brothers Phil Kisil, Mike Kisil, Steve Kisil, and sister Anne Kotylak. 

Mom was a kind soul and hard worker.  She was an excellent cook and home maker, a valuable workmate on the farm and an enthusiastic companion in life.  She was a loyal employee while working in retail sales.  Mom enjoyed gardening, travelling, dancing, and in later years the craft and social times available to her.  Mom was a fierce competitor when golfing, playing cards or bingo but always enjoyed the activity and fellow competitors. Mom was always nicely dressed with her hair and makeup in place.

Donations in memory of Pauline can be made to the Dr. Noble Irwin Regional Healthcare Foundation, 2051 Saskatchewan Drive, Swift Current, SK, S9H 0X6. These memorial donations will then be directed to the Herbert & District Integrated Facility.

The family would like to thank all of the medical professionals and staff at the Cypress Regional Hospital and the Herbert & District Integrated Facility.  Everyone involved with Mom’s care went above and beyond to provide a caring and safe home for her.
