Robert “Bob” Harris

It is with profound love and deep sadness that the family of Robert “Bob” Harris announces his passing on November 23, 2025. Bob passed away peacefully, surrounded by the people he cherished most—his family.

Born on April 14, 1954, in Raymore, Saskatchewan, to Charles and Greta (Pollard) Harris, Bob grew into a man whose life was defined by devotion, humility, and unwavering love. He was a devoted husband, a proud father, and, without question, one of the world’s greatest grandfathers. Everything Bob did was for his family; nothing brought him more joy than being a steady, loving presence in their lives.

Bob is predeceased by his parents, Charles and Greta Harris; his brother, Wayne Harris; and his parents-in-law, John Challand and Nellie (Hood) Challand.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 51 years, Jean Harris, who was his partner in every sense of the word. He is lovingly remembered by his children: Bobbi-Jean (John) Sherman, Ashley (Dallas) Nash, and Jeffrey (Whitney) Harris. Bob’s legacy lives on through his cherished grandchildren—Ryder, Amelia, Aubrey, Harper, Elise, and Greta—each of whom brought unmatched joy and pride to his life.

A Celebration of Bob’s Life will be held Thursday, November 27 at 1:00 p.m. at Parkside Funeral Home in Swift Current. A private family interment will be held at a later date.

Bob will be remembered for his gentle heart, his unwavering commitment to those he loved, and the countless ways he made life brighter for everyone around him. His presence will be deeply missed, and his memory forever treasured.
