NEUFELD - Matthew passed away on Friday, August 8, 2025 in Swift Current, SK. A memorial service has been planned at the Wymark Skating Rink, Wymark, SK on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.

In Loving Memory of Matthew Neufeld 

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mathew Douglas Neufeld, age 29, of Swift Current, Saskatchewan, who left us on August 8th, 2025. 

Matthew was born in Swift Current where he later graduated from Maverick School. After high school, he worked at his uncle's window company where he was appreciated for his talents and productivity. He was quite smart and ruled the monopoly board by mortgaging properties at age 7.

Matthew will be remembered for his thoughtful and kind soul. Those who knew him best saw the warmth, humor, and loyalty that were enduring traits. Matthew especially enjoyed music: He learned to play piano and drums by ear, and liked going to live shows. 

He is survived by his parents, Douglas Neufeld and Mandy Neufeld, stepmother Tanya Neufeld, his daughter Naomi, his siblings Josh, Jake, Nick, Kade, Sara (Dylan), and Sam, and many extended family members and friends who mourn his loss.
