SPITZER – Colleen Faye

It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Colleen Faye Spitzer on Sunday, June 8, 2025 at Cypress Regional Hospital in Swift Current, SK.

Colleen was born May 30, 1963 in Swift Current, SK to Don & Carol Spitzer. Colleen is lovingly remembered by her daughter Teagan (Garnet) Gader and her granddaughters Jaylynn and Jorie; her long time partner Bruce Pristie; her brother Rick Spitzer; sister Charlynne (Chris) Salberg; nieces Carly (Tank) Owen, and Parker, Corey (Dwight) Wenzel, Jack and Hadley; her uncle Rob Krein and numerous cousins.

Colleen grew up on the family farm near Hallonquist and attended school at Neidpath, Vanguard and Swift Current, SK. In her younger years she was involved in Hallonquist 4H Club and school sports.

The family moved to Swift Current in 1977 where she finished off her schooling. She started working at the Credit Union where she worked for the next 36 years until her retirement in February of 2022.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Parkside Memorial Funeral Home.
